Both Pre-K program classrooms have new refrigerators that are larger and more durable. The interior air temperature of both classroom refrigerators was 44-45 degrees F. No food items to be provided to students were stored in these refrigerators at the time of reinspection. Adjust the temperature setting of both of the new refrigerators so that the interior air temperature is between 39-41 degrees F. This is necessary to keep cold food product for children at the required cold holding temperature range of 45 degrees F. or less. Provisional sanitation status from the prior inspection has been lifted. The Pre-K program classrooms are now back in the superior sanitation status range. No demerit items were observed at the time of the reinspection.

Both food items were stored in the class refrigerator in pre-k classroom #309. Cold food items for children must be kept at a temp. at or below 45 degrees F. The interior air temperature of this class refrigerator was 47 degrees F. This refrigerator requires priority repair or replacement. The refrigerator should not be used for cold food storage for students until repairs have been completed and the refrigerator is maintaining proper cold food holding temperatures.
