66,000gal; 183gpm min turnover flowrate. Flowrate is too low, water has very slight sheen/bubbles but drains are visible. Need to increase turnover flowrate to minimum required flowrate. Recommend looking at pump size as part of VGB drain replacement. No imminent hazard found. Have an electrician evaluate all of the components to determine function. If corrections are needed, obtain an electrical permit from the appropriate municipality and have the corrections inspected by the appropriate municipality.

Visited pool due to complaint about foam and sheen on water. Found very light sheen, tiny foam bubbles. There are no rules that address foam/sheen. Pool is being treated for phosphates and trying to enforce showering requirements on users. Recommend having water tested by independent lab to see if there is something else wrong. Recommend requesting users not add body lotions/oils or conditioner to hair prior to swimming. Still need to address flowrate!
Wake County Plan Review and Recreational Sanitation Section recommends pools be hyper chlorinated at least twice a month. This activity should be accurately logged on the CPO check list form.
Need at least 2 National/WCES CPO on staff to provide the 7days a week coverage. CPO must use WCES approved test kits for commercial pools.

Visited pool due to complaint. Found chemicals in compliance. Pool records does show pool has been closed several times recently. CPO states they have had some cloudiness and have closed for flocking to clear water. Have added chemical additives to help combat soap and body oils. Have had recent increase in use due to swim team practices. Stressing coaches to make sure teams are showering prior to entering the pool. Found no foam or oils on pool. Closing complaint.

Recommend using a white backdrop behind no diving signs on pool deck during next renovation. Current signs are easily visible but the white backdrop will make signs standout. Pool phone and 911 address and number are functional and correct. Recommend contacting 911 so that the pool phone shows up as indoor pool at Clubworx and not just clubworx. Annual pool permit issued. Permit expires May 16, 2009.
